Vehicle History:
I bought this car in 2008 and don't know how many owners it had before
me. I do know that it spent time in the USA and returned to England in
2004 where it was given an incorrect 1966 related number plate.
Since I have owned it, it has had a complete bare metal respray together
with some essential body repairs and in 2015 I assisted in an engine
rebuild where my job was to do all the cleaning and to help the expert
with some of the work. The job was done in my garage with visits from the
expert mechanic.
While in my ownership I have driven it to and on a number of MBIG (the
German Mercedes-Benz Interressen Gemeinschaft Club) annual gatherings
such as Munich, Darmstadt and had the great pleasure of driving it to the
125 year anniversary Mercedes-Benz gathering in Berlin.
I used to be a member of a website similar to this one but can't find it
now. The idea seemed the same. Does anyone know of it?
