This car was owned and loved by James Trevillion of Melbourne for 22 years after he acquired it from SA. It is all original and has its books and records.
James started a partial restoration with Rienhard Klavers and the engine
bay and front end have been rebuilt. The motor was disassembled and the
car partially stripped.
I have now taken stewardship of the project and will have the engine
rebuilt in Sydney. The interior will be retrimmed. The chrome and duco
sharpened up where needed and the car will be returned to drivability and
use. It is a stunning example of the car and the gorgeous colours of the
period. Sadly now cars are black,white or gery.
This car is beautiful and deserves to be driven. I loved it as soon as I
saw it.
