Mercedes-Benz built the 300 SE series Coupes and Cabriolets, 1962 through 1967 and they were the most expensive Mercedes-Benz of its time. The 300 SE cars were hand built to be ultra-luxurious with more wood, more leather and more chrome.
The Mercedes-Benz 300SE was powered by a six-cylinder engine that displaced 183 cubic-inches. It was available as a Sedan or Convertible and was lavishly equipped with amenities such as air suspension, power steering, and automatic transmission.
1967 was the last year for wide white-wall tires. The car has two-piece hubcaps riding on 14-inch wheels. There is a 4.08 limited slip rear and a mechanical fuel injection system.
This Beautiful example was acquired from a private collection with all examples of these classic Coups and Cabriolets highly sought after.
Presenting in excellent condition, the vehicle was fitted with an optional automatic transmission from new. Finished in Burgundy with a black leather interior with woodgrain dash and white wall tyres. The car is complete with owner's manual.
This 300SE is an investment ready to be driven and enjoyed every day. Steadily increasing in desirability and rarity, this is an excellent opportunity to own an essential piece of Mercedes-Benz history.
