Newsletter No.082 Workshop open night invite, Owners manuals
Newsletter Number 82
1st November 2004
Welcome. Just a quick short newsletter this time. The most important thing is to let everybody know about the workshop night with the local Mercedes-Benz club next Tuesday. All are welcome, see below. Also in this newsletter we have some specials on workshop manuals for a lucky few and some owners manuals.
Thanks John Green.
Mercedes-Benz Club Garage Night.
You do not need to be a member of the club to attend. We will have pictures and a report from the night in the next newsletter. If you click here you will find Newsletter No.54 where we did a self guided tour, and if you click here you can see a Power point presentation on the workshop with some shots taken not long after we enlarged it.
Cars to be dismantled.
Just one worth mentioning this week:
230.4 W115 1976, the last of the W115 series, really not that bad a car, just a bit ugly. Very good engine and auto transmission, has some rare options like heated rear windscreen, l/h mirror, A/C, etc.
So if you need any bits for your 230.4 give us a ring on 1300 787 300 or e-mail the spares department.

Discounted CD-rom workshop manuals.
Now here is a good discount for you if you happen to own a certain model car. If you go to our page where we explain the factory workshop manuals that we sell on CD-rom, then you will know that we split up the Star Classic series CD's. However over the last few years we have collected an abundance of the following two CD's:

Volume 4 Disc 1 covers models: 190SL [W121] from 1955 to 1963, 300SL Gullwing [W198] from 1954 to 1962.
We will be selling these off at $110.00 each, this is a 50% discount off the normal price! Ring Murray on 1300 787 300 to order or you can e-mail him here.
