Newsletter Number 4
Hello again everybody, great response to the last news letter, but nobody managed to work out what the mystery car was. It was a 500SL (R129) roadster grille. This week I have another mystery photo and I have raised the stakes as well. We also have a new staff member. Les Ingram has joined us as our new Service manager. Les is a qualified mechanic with over 20 years experience. Recently he has been working as a Service advisor with one of Canberra's top dealers. We welcome Les and trust that he will enjoy his time with us.
Mercedes-Benz Car Clubs.
Most states and territories in Australia have their own Mercedes-Benz car club. All of these clubs are members of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Car Club International. This is a Club run by Daimler Chrysler themselves. To find a list of car clubs here in Australia have a look here. Or have a look here for a world wide list.
Now I have seen everything!!
Need I say more? Have a look at this. Its a car, its a boat, its a 250S?

STOP PRESS STOP PRESS
Since I typed the draft for this newsletter I have sold the 300TE.
Mystery photo.
OK have a look at this one.
The first e-mail that can identify both cars by the correct chassis number designation will get a $50.00 credit voucher! As mentioned above nobody got last weeks so I thought I would raise the stakes to get you more interested.
Site of the week.
Have a look at this site. One mans life time ambition starts to come to reality, but will he achieve his goals? The site is all about the 300 or so Adenauer series from the 50's. These cars are quite rare here in Australia and around the world. I have a 1954 300b that has been in the family for the last 15 years. It is a nice unrestored example.
New Hot C class confirmed.
The new top-of-the-line C-Class has been confirmed by Daimler Chrysler. Making its market debut it bears the name C 32 AMG. It's the car that's got it all! The engine is an AMG version of the 3.2lt V6 putting out an amazing torque of 450 Newton meters. The 3.2-liter V-6 engine also puts out an impressive 354 hp. Equally impressive is the design. Its typical AMG styling places the C 32 AMG firmly in the Mercedes-Benz-AMG family. Mercedes-AMG is anticipating strong demand of 3,500 cars worldwide this year.
