Its Concours season again with the ACT and NSW club annual Concours's this month. If you haven't been along to one of these events we would recommend them to you as a great day out. MB Spares will be displaying the Peking to Paris Rally car at both events and we look forward to seeing you there.

Mercedes-Benz Club of the ACT annual Concours d'Elegance.

Sunday, 20th September 2015 is the date for the 40th Annual Concours d'Elegance and Display Day of the Mercedes-Benz Club of the A.C.T. As in recent years, the event will be an integral part of the Shannons German Autofest. A combined display from all the German car clubs in the ACT.

The ACT club event attracts entrants from all over Australia with Canberra's superb spring weather and the nearby Floriade Festival both excellent reasons to attend. The Concours is being held on the southern shore of Lake Burley Griffin, on the area known as the Patrick White Lawns, located lake-side of the National Library in Parkes.

Mercedes-Benz Club of NSW annual Concours d'Elegance.

Carrying the tradition of Concours d'Elegance forward, the Mercedes-Benz Club of NSW will hold their annual display of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, in judged and non-judged classes. The Concours d'Elegance will be held on 27th of September 2015 at Gough Whitlam Park, Bayview Ave, Earlwood. This year the club will be featuring the 190SL.

It is an ideal location for a picnic, with a children's playground, and outdoor cafe with sandwiches, pastries, coffee and tea. The club looks forward to your participation on the day as either an entrant or observer.

Entries for Concours judging close on the 22nd of September and will not be accepted on the day. Website updates.

Following the launch of the new website last month we have had some great feedback. A few additional changes have been made to iron out the issues that were reported to us. We are also working on two new pages. The first is a list of all the country dealer codes. The other is a list of service reset methods for those of you who service your own cars. This page should be done in a few weeks.

We have also added another brand to our page explaining where Mercedes-Benz parts are really made. You can find it here.


Cars for Sale.

The low mileage E240 has been snapped up and will be making an appearance at this year's ACT club Concours with the new owner. We still have the E320 and the Vito 115.

Sausages & Spanners

The next big event on the MB Spares calendar is the 21st annual Sausages and Spanners night with the members of the Mercedes-Benz Club of the ACT. It is to be held on Tuesday the 10th of November from 6pm onwards. Mark the date in your diary now. Here are the pictures from last year.
